Any middle school age string student is eligible to become a member. This group will will use the exact same schedule as the TCYS. Additional information can be obtained by e-mailing Christa Speed, conductor of TCJYS.

Each activity will have a separate fee.

The Tri-City Youth Symphony for high school students has been in existence for 30 years. There have been may students of middle school age that have expressed an interest in starting an ensemble for middle school players, so the Tri-City board decided that 2002 would be the right time begin.

Conductor for the junior symphony is Christa Speed. Christa is the high school orchestra director for the Grand Island Public Schools.
